Hello everyone! It’s a new season for FabFitFun and I am living for this box! It’s partnered with kindness Factory which is a great organization! The box itself is cute like always but let’s take a look on what’s inside! If you want to sign up you can get $10 off by using this link: http://xo.fff.me/lc2Og they just hit 1 million member!! Come join the family!
so even just at a glance this box looks so great, wintery, and cozy!
The first thing I grabbed was Bearpaw Combo Set: Headband and Pop-Top Glove Duo. I love that these are black so they can go with any winter outfit. They’re super cute and great quality too, I can already see Instagram picture coming with these on! They retail for $45 which I think is pretty standard for a good pair of gloves and a head band.
The next item is from Bite Beauty, it’s the Amuse Bouche Lipstick in the shade Meringue. I love the shade and have never actually tried Bite Beauty products before and I keep saying I want to so this is a perfect infroduction for me! It retails at $26 which is normal for a lipstick that would be sold at Sephora.
The next item is Blaq Hydrogel Eye Mask with Hyaluronic Acid. Can never go wrong with some eye masks! It comes with 5 for $29 which I think is actually really good! I’ve never heard of the brand before but I’m definitely trying these bad boys out!
The next product is by Ahava which is a brand we’ve gotten in the box before and I really like. This time we received a Hydration Cream Mask. My face is super dry all year and gets even worse in the winter so I’m glad this box set me up! This can be used as either a hydration boost or and overnight mask which I’ve been looking for an overnight hydrating mask for a while now so this works out perfectly! It retails for $33 which again I find is pretty standard for these type of masks.
The next item is by Thrive Cosmetics and it’s their Brilliant Eye Brightener in Stella. Before knowing it was going to be in this box I never heard of Thrive Cosmetics but it’s actually been gaining some hype over the last couple months and I’ve heard good thing about this product so I’m excited to give it a whirl! It retails for $24 which is good for the product!
There are a few beauty products in this seasons box which I’m okay with, this next one is the Be Your Selfie by Pur. I only have one other pallet from them but I love it! I have high hopes for this beautiful pallet which retails for $36 which is normal for smaller pallets.
This next item I knew I wanted as soon as I saw a little preview for it! It’s something I’ve wanted and needed while traveling for the longest time and I’m so glad someone made this! It’s the H Halston Jewery Portfolio which keeps your accessories together and tangle free while traveling. There’s a spot for necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and more! Ive always complained when packing accessories so this is a game changer!! It’s good quality as well and cute simple design. It retails for $48 which I do think is a little expensive but I’m glad I got it and would probably buy this if it didn’t come in the bag because I know I’m going to use the crap out of this and again as I mention before it’s really good quality so I know it’s going to last for a long time!
The next item I got did actually leak a little bit after contacting FabFitFun they are going to sent out a new one for me. They’re always really good about fixing mistakes made which is another reason I love this box! This is Aay of Will Elevate Essential Oil Set: Sweet Oarange and Eucalyptus. I like the scents just with it leaking it was so strong! In the little booklet you get it tells you what these and other scents are good for which I think is really helpful! Sweet orange used on the temples or stomach can help cramps and headaches while eucalyptus can help when applied to sore muscles. This retails for $31 which is pretty good compared to what I’ve seen some essential oils go for.
For an additional $10 I added the Sherrie Matthews Acupuncture Jade Stone Roller because this is something I’ve wanted but they’re actually so expensive! This retails for $45 but I’m glad I got it and hope it helps my skin routine. I will say for the price I was kinda disappointed it wasn’t put together the best or maybe I had a defective one but mine broke minutes after opening it. I was able to put it back together but I know I’m going to have to be super gentle with it.
The last item in the box was a Mark & Graham Colorblock Throw in Gray/Ivory. It is soft and good material with a great Look to spice up any room! It retails for $49 which is typical for throws of this quality!
Overall I was super impressed with my box! There is not one thing I won’t use and don’t love! This is probably the best box I’ve gotten in a while! All the products for me added up to $366 including the Jade Roller I added. Without it would be $321 which is still an amazing price for what I spend on it that’s over three times the amount spent!
Another thing that was in their booklet I wanted to share from this season was a self-care little guide for 2019. FabFitFun always encourages the best you and praises self-care which I love! I know this is something that I might followe because I get stressed easy and looking at a guide and doing one thing for myself a week can really help so I wanted to share it in case there’s a change it can help anyone else!
I hope you enjoyed the box as much as I did! If you get the box yourself what was your favourite item? Did you get anything different than me? Let me know in the comments below!!
Hello everyone! Is it just me or did November fly by! It was such an amazing month for the most part and it definitely started off amazingly!!
My favourite things are Harry Potter, Smallville, Marvel, and Game of Thrones for those of you who are unaware. At the beginning of the month my boyfriend and I got a flight to Rhode Island for the Comic-Con and it was an amazing experience! Laura gave me a picture for free and was so incredibly nice to me. I got autographs from Laura, Tom, and Michael from Smallville. I got a picture with Natalia Tena who plays in both Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. Then I got professional pictures with Tom Felton, Elizabeth Henstridge, as well as Tom, Michael, and Laura. I am so thankful for having this experience since it’s something I’ve dreamed of for so long! While we were there I also go some pop figures I’ve been missing or wanting, a couple of Christmas presents, and a couple of miscellaneous items. We had a good weekend in Rhode Island and a safe plane ride home. If you want to see some of what we did I posted a YouTube video on it; https://youtu.be/uhM5gmxLffw
This month Fantasic Beasts The Crimes of Grindelwald came out into theatre and Kody and I went out opening night. We got a free poster and I bought the niffler in the picture above. I loved the movie and want to see it again so badly!
On the 17th, while I was at work my license plates got stolen off of my car which was a big inconvenience for my boyfriend and I but we managed. We had to get new ones the following Monday and report the original plates missing.
The same day my lisence plates got stolen my friend from work had her birthday party. Kody and I went for a couple hours and had a good time. There was a photo station which printed out the pictures right away which I love when events have these, there was food, and we had a couple drinks. We had a good time which was needed after the stressful day!
On the 21st, my friend celebrated her birthday with her friends. Only myself and three other girls could go but we just stayed at her house playing Jenga and Pictionary. We had pizza and good laughs throughout the night until we all went home. Another great night I’m thankful I was invited to!
In the last week I sprained my back and had many assignments to work on.
This month I watched The Nutcracker and the Four Realmes, Halloween, Fantastic Beasts the Crimes of Grindelwald twice, as mentioned above, and A Star Is Born. I enjoyed all the movies and have a couple reviews out for a couple of them as well!
This month I was also able to start ready a book my friend lent to me a while ago. It’s The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman and honestly I’d recommend this to anyone in a relationship it’s very enlightening and a good read. I’m half way through and can’t wait to get through the rest.
Hey there, this months Boxycharm came pretty early. The theme is goal gigger and I really enjoyed this box this month so lets get into it!
The first item in the box is from Lashaholic Luxury Lashes. They look beautiful and honestly I've never tried fake lashes but I've always wanted to. Now that I have some I can test them out. They retail for $14.99.
The next item, from the brand Jonteblu. It's a black glittering star eyeliner. I'm excited to test this out. I've never heard or tried this brand before. This retails for $5 which is a great price for an eyeliner so let's hope it works well.
The next item is from Luxie, it's some brushes which I always love brushes from Luxie! They are eyeshadow brushes which you can also never have enough of. This set goes for $21.
The next product I was really excited for. It’s the Cover FX glitter drops. I’ve never used this brand but has always seen and heard good things about these. The pigment is amazing and the swatch got me really excited!
Last but not least, was from Ace Beautē, I’ve never heard of this brand but the pallet looks beautiful and I’m excited to give it a go. It looks very autumnal which sucks now that it’s already winter weather where I live. It’s the Grandiose Palette.
Overall I’m very excited for this box and everything in it. I hope everyone got what they liked and encouraged anyone who is wanting to get the box to get it
Hey everyone! So opening night I saw Fantasic Beasts the Crimes of Grindelwald and OH MY GOSH!!!! Amazing movie guys! The cinematic is amazing! The acting is amazing! Storyline is of course amazing!! There are a butch of storylines built into the one movie with so many different characters that a few could be lost on some people but it is still well built altogether. Many people said they explained things too much but I thought they did show a lot more than just telling it word for word. There are so many plot twists that will blow you away! There is cute love stories, heartbreaking moments, and the funny moments we loved about the first one. Amazing foreshadowing in the film, and due to one of them I guessed the biggest twist at the very end of the film but it was still great to see. For the most part everything made sense, don't get me wrong there were a couple flaws but for the most part it was great! It has great adventure, action, and emotions. It has old beasts we saw and loved from the first film as well as newer one you can love as well. I suggest this to anyone and they would love it!!! If anyone has seen it let me know what you thought down below! Also side note; when I was there on opening night they gave everyone a free poster and they were selling push Nifflers so of course I had to buy one and I honestly love it!
Already November? I can't believe how fast this year has gone by! October wasn't too big of an exciting month lots of homework, school, and work. We did have some birthdays in it though! My birthday is October 1st so my mum came over and we just went out to dinner with Kody and ,y grandpa which was nice. Kody's birthday was this month as well so I took him out to eat for his birthday and we had a really nice time celebrating!
I started some Christmas shopping when I had a free second. There were a few midterms in the month and sadly we were unable to celebrate Thanksgiving other than with Kody's parents. Usually we have at least one per family.
After school one day a couple friends and I went outside to take nice autumn photos. The leaves are finally changing colours!
This month I also had to get Ariana's new perfume! It's called Cloud and is described as 'a dreamy blend of alluring lavender blossom, forbidden juicy pear, and mouth watering bergamot'. I love the smell of it and the packaging is so cute! I love displaying the bottle on my dresser!
On October 28th, I went to my dad's and we carved a pumpkin, just with a happy face. It's a small tradition we do every year and it is nice to spend the time together and to it while having a blast!
For my Monday class at school we had to dress up so I naturally became Ariana Grande for the day in her classic dress sweater and thigh-high boots. The bonus is the sweater was a men's and it fits my boyfriend so he got a new sweater, you're welcome! Then on the night of Halloween I had to work but we were allowed to dress up! I became Betty Cooper and one of my coworkers became my Veronica! I love dressing up and having fun over such simple things! I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween!
This month I didn't do any reading other than textbooks and the only movie I saw in theater was Venom which was good. If I have time I'm hoping for a review to be going up on it next week!
The products I loved this month was the It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara and the Mascerade pallet from Pur. They both actually came in my Boxycharm but I've been reaching for both all the time! My other favorite is the Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb Highlight, it's so amazing oh my gosh!!!!
I hope everyone has an amazing November! I know I have a couple things planned and also a bunch more exams haha! Till next time!
Hey everyone! This months bag is very good for October, it has a mask on it and is completely red. I think it’s cute but I can’t think of anytime I would use this so I don’t think I’m going to keep it.
The first product is an eyebrow brush which you can never go wrong with!
The next thing is from Makeup Forever. It’s a foundation sample which is cool but it’s not my favourite.
The next is Yensa colour and face primer. Again this wasn’t all that good.
The second item is a moisturizer I’m going to try but wasn’t that excited to see.
The final product I would say is the best! It’s IBY radiant Glow Highlight. It’s very pretty and suddle.
Overall I was really disappointed in this month not going to lie. I only like one product and won’t even really use the others. Really hope next month is better..
While taking photos for my blog or Instagram my cats have a habit of getting in the way. Due to this I decided to just make a folder and make a post of all the pictures. Some of them look really cute and help the picture I will admit. Others, some time, it looks like they could be posing, and then there are some where they are just annoyingly in the way. I hope you enjoy!
This picture was a cute bag I liked from Pet Smart when I got some new toys for my babies. It says, “Love me, Spoil me, Treat me”. I actually love his (Ghosts) tail being in the way. I think it adds to the photos and gives it an extra touch!
These two photos, they were just in the way while taking the pictures. The one on the left is Lady and the one on the right is Ghost.
This one I think Ghost looks like a little model ruling my new (at the time) Risk board game. I love it but I just wanted the game.
Someone was very curious about the July Ipsy bag. It took me so long to get this picture with Lady sniffing around the whole time. It was either her paws or face in the way.
When I got my package from Colourpop I wasn't the only one excited. Both of the cats were lingering over the boxes. It took me forever to be able to take pictures because they would leave.
I love this picture! When I got my Autumn FabFitFun box, Ghost got curious of my beauty blender. When I got home later that day it was out of the package with a few teeth marks but thankfully it’s still usable!
Hey everyone! Another month gone and man, has it flown by! It feels like starting school was ages ago but it’s only been a couples weeks!
This month started out on a happy note! The first of the month, I went to a wedding of an old friend which was beautiful! I’m so happy for them!!
On the 4th, school started and it’s been stressful! Being in school and working full time is exhausting! Plus trying to find time for life and the gym. I am liking my program though!!
On September 22nd Kody and I spent a night camping but it was so cold around 3 in the morning we had to go into the car to sleep. We woke up early and went to the Festival of Wizardry! It was all about Harry Potter which I loved! I bought some items and Bonnie Wright (Jinny) was there! She did an interview and I was able to get a picture with her! It was such an amazing day! We also did a Harry Potter based escape room which was a lot of fun! I definitely want to go again next year!
I got pretty sick the week after this and had to take a couple days off both school and work. September did not end off on a good note.
The only movie I watched in theatre was A Simple Favour. I was going to watch The Nun but heard so many bad things about it so I didn’t bother. I also didn’t read much but my coworker is letting me borrow a book so I’m going to try and read that ASAP, but it is midterms already so I don’t know about that!
My favourite things this month are, Smashbox Covershot Petal Metal eyeshadow pallet, I actually really like the Laura Geller blush I got in my boxycharm, my YAE sweater by James and Carys.
