This box I'm not sure what the theme was because my box didn't have a paper in it with the information in it so I had to go onto their website to find prices. The first item was a Becca Cosmetics Ultimate Lip Definer which retails for $22USD. I tried it and the colour payoff was decent. I've defiantly used better lip liner before. I will use it again don't get me wrong but I don't think I would buy another shade on my own.
The next product was an Appeal Ultra Creme Lipstick which is actually a really nice nude shade for everyday. The only complaint I was about this is the packaging. Although it is unique which makes it interesting it can make storing it difficult. It retails for $21 USD.
The third item in the box is a Murad Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture for eyes that sells for $70. I'm interested to try this because I have very dry eyelids but I also don't want to like it just because it's expensive!!
This next product I'm pretty sure I got in another box because maybe it was a different scent but I remember because I gave it away to a friend since I'm not a fan of cleansing balms. It is the Farmacy- Very Cherry Clean Cleansing Balm. It does say this is a limited edition for Boxycharm so it probably is different but it's still the same concept. It retails for $34 USD.
The last item in the box is from Hank & Henry Living in Color palette which retails for $27 USD. I like the packaging design on the front and the colours inside are nice but not as colourful as I was expecting for the name of the palette to mention colour. The pans for each shade are pretty small and the palette itself is pretty think so I'm not a fan of this. I will try it and if the shades perform well I will keep it but if I don't like it maybe one of my friends will!
The total of this box is $174 USD which is a lot more than what the box costs which happens every month. This box didn't excited as much as they normally do but there is a couple items I am happy with and I'm excited to test out the palette!
February flew by and I feel like I didn't do anything at all! The main things that happened in this month was my first time going to the Costco winter party which was so much fun! I drank a little too much but took so many pictures and danced on the dance floor having a great night!
I also started to get back into fitness this month with the help of guides from home and protein shakes as well as motivation cards. If you want information about it leave an email and I can get you more information!
Later in the month my fiance got a raise at work so to celebrate that him and I went out to a nice dinner together we dressed up to go to. We went to the restaurant we hadn't been to since the night he purposed to me so it was a special night.
Sorry for such a short month update I honestly didn't do much. My favourite products for this month would probably have to be two eyeshadow palettes I would alternate between on a daily basis. This first one is Revolution x Roxi Ride or Die Palette and the Kim Kardashian The Artist & Muse Palette. I highly recommend both of these for daily looks. You probably don't need both so if I had to choose only one I would probably choose the Ride or Die palette because it is cheaper but I do find that The Artist & Muse lasts longer depending what is more important to you!
Yay!! Another box with Boxycharm!
The first item is a three piece brush set from Alamar Cosmetics. It’s a complexion brush, blush brush, and brightening brush. They retail for $36 USD which honestly is really good for brushes. That’s normally the price for one.
The next item is from a brand I’ve never even heard of, Qveen. It’s a matte stain liquid lipstick. It’s a very beautiful colour so I’m going to try it but mattes aren’t my favourite because of how drying some can be. It’s $17 USD which is a normal price for a drug store lipstick.
The next item is from a brand I’ve heard a lot about but have never really tried myself due to how expensive it is. It’s the Kate Somerville Bio-mimicking peptides biominetques serum that’s retails for a whooping $98 USD which is so much!! It’s supposed to help tighten skin which I don’t have a problem with so it won’t even be getting use if I’m being honest.
The next product is a Pretty Vulger mascara. I’ve only ever gotten this brand in past boxycharm boxes but I’ve never been disappointed yet. It retails for $23 USD and it’s a lengthening mascara.
This last item is another item I probably won’t get use of because I don’t use setting powders from how dry my skin is. It’s Ciate London Everyday Vacay Coconut Setting Powder which retails for $22 USD which I feel is average.
Overall I feel like this box had some hit and misses for me. You can never go wrong with more brushes! I also love mascaras because I go through them a lot and it’s good to have backups. The lipstick looks so nice as long as it isn’t drying and as for the other two as stated above probably won’t get used. The entire box price added up to $196 USD which is such a good price for the price you pay monthly.
This year was not off to a good start, New Year’s Day we had to bring our baby boy to the pet hospital where he had to get surgery or he was going to die. We paid with money we didn’t even have so we did start a GoFundMe page so if you are able to donate we would greatly appreciate it!
He is recovered now and doing so well! I’m so incredibly thankful for all the people who did help us by dontating money it did help!
One of my Christmas gifts was Marianas Trench tickets. I asked for them as soon as I saw they were coming to the city my mum lives in so she got a ticket for me, my brother, and herself. I was one of the only people that knew the new music it seemed but I had such an amazing time! He came down my aisle and I got a picture/video with him in it!!
This month I also went out of my comfort zone and did a boudoir shoot for my fiancé as an engagement/Valentine’s Day gift. It was such a great experience and they turned out so beautifully! I went to the Boudior Studio in Windsor they did an amazing job! Their photographer is a published artist getting scouted out by models and magazines. If you live in the area there link is:
If you ar interested leave a comment and I can give you $100 0ff of their products! They go off of your comfort level and take such amazing care of you from the beginning to the end. It includes 2 hours of hair and makeup and 2 hours of shooting. It’s such a confident boost and a great experience for yourself. It would be good for a significant other or just to help yourself with self love!
I watched the second season of Lost in Space this month but honestly I’ve just been busy from work and school it’s already midterm time so I’m so stressed so if I don’t post too much that is why. I will try my best but due to saving for a wedding I’ve cancelled my Boxycharm so I will get it in February and March but then it is done so I’ll have to come up with other things to post about!
My favourite thing this month is music related. I love Louis Tomlinson’s new Album Walls! Also my fiancé and I traded in a lot of our old games and were able to get the Zelda Ocarina of Time record which is amazing!!
Another year has come and gone and it was such a blessed year. Probably and honestly the best year I’ve had so far! This year started off not so well with my cat getting sick and we had to make decisions to save his life. That aside he is doing better and things are getting back to normal and with a new month is a new Boxycharm box!
This months box theme was Breaking the Ice which is something I’ve had to do a lot this month already.
The first item is Avant Skincare 8 Hour Radiance Renewal Sleeping Mask which retails for $107 which is crazy! That’s so much money for not the biggest container. I’ll definitely try it and see how it is but it’s a lot and I don’t really need to work on tightening skin right now in my life.
The next item is Skin&Co Roma Truffle Therapy Face Gommage which retails for $28. This product again helps reduce signs of aging which isn’t a priority for me right now in life, my skin is still pretty good.
The next product I’ve already used and really loved the colour and formula. It’s by Manna Kadar Beauty which is a matte lip Lip Whip which wasn’t too drying on the lips. It retails for $21.
The second last item is by Pretty Vulgar, it’s the Under Cover Concealer which retails for $25. It was a really nice formula which wasn’t drying at all which is really good for my skin. However, the shade I got is the same colour as my skin if not a little darker so it doesn’t really work for me but I’m glad to hand it off to a friend.
The last item is by Ace Beauty which I’ve only ever gotten from this box before. It’s the Vintage Dawn eyeshadow palette which retails for $34.99. I only used it once and it was without a primer but using the orange shades I used they didn’t really last all day. They went on pigmented and blended out well but I’m hoping they stay in longer with a primer.
Overall this box wasn’t very overwhelming and I won’t be using the age minimizing products for a while if at all, the concealer wasn’t the right shade, but the lipstick and eyeshadow palette I’m willing to play around with more. The total box goes for $215.99

Welcome 2020! What a wonderful year it has been filled with so much joy and laughter. This year was go good to me mentally and emotionally. I am so happy and thankful for the friend group I have and the people in my life! Let's review what happened in my 2019!
I started this year with my best friend beside me downtown. It was a last minute decision to even go downtown but we're both glad we did!
In January not much happened other than me getting a second hole in my ear which I had been wanting for so long!
I didn't do anything in the month of February that was exciting other than going to an adventure place a couple times. Once was with my boyfriend and the other with mu cousin. I did make a video on my youtube about it:
In march I got to see Marianas Trench... again! They came to my city so my boyfriend and I saw them there. My best friend and I also went to a Harry Potter bar crawl which was so much fun! Each place we went had special drinks for the event. Lastly I was so proud of myself because I went to a fitness class and rocked it!
April was the month of exams and concerts! I saw Ariana Grande with one of my friends. We had been saying we wanted to go see her together for so long! I also saw Against the Current with my boyfriend and they were amazing! I've been listening to them since their first EP and I was so excited to be able to see them!
CUBA!!! My best friend and I went to Cuba which was on the top of my bucket list for a while! It already seems like so long ago but I had such a great time! We went to Havana and it was so beautiful, we also went down into caves and drove around old cities.
About a week after I got back from Cuba my cousin and I went to London and walked the Fish Bowl before going to the Twenty One Pilots concert!
The first day of June last minute I joined my boyfriend and his friend to see Tom Segura. My boyfriend and I also went to Canada's Wonderland for our three year anniversary. Later in the month our cities fair came into town and we also went there. At the end of the month my cousin and I went camping and walked around Flowerpot Island.
My best friend went downtown to kick off the new month and then a couple weeks later I went camping with my boyfriend. We also visited his family and met up with mine at Rock Glen
This month testing my limits of long drives. I drove 22 hours straight to Thunder Bay helping my cousin move for school. I also went camping with my best friend where I visited Flowerpot Island for the second time! In this month I also got to go to the Toronto Comic-con where I met Tom and Laura again!
In September school started back up and my boyfriend and I went to see Footloose the Musical because it is one of his favourite movies.
My boyfriend and I went to see 5 Seconds of Summer and the Chainsmokers. We also went through a corn maze and went apple picking later in the month. For Thanksgiving, we went camping with his family. My best friend and I went to another bar crawl, this time it was a superhero/villain one which was just as fun! My cousin and I went to a haunted hayride and a haunted greenhouse where I took a video I'm never getting rid of it's so funny! After that my boyfriend and I went to a house party and downtown with my friends, I hosted a Halloween party, and my best friend and I went out for Halloween night. If you couldn't tell I love spooky season!
Along with having a ton of different Halloween looks I decided to try doing Halloween makeup this year! I did ten different looks some took a lot more work than others but I loved how they all turned out! I want to try and do this again next year! I did a neon skull, Killer Frost, Joker, Pennywise, a colourful Pennywise, Saw, Mulan, a hollow mask, day of the dead, and an Egyptian look!
In Novemeber my placement was done and before going back to work I took a trip to visit my cousin up in Thunderbay. The day before I left though, my boyfriend and I watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince live in concert which was amazing! In Thunderbay we did a lot exploring, we watched Countdown in theatre, and we went rock climbing. I had such a great time I hope to be able to go in the summer some time.
I started off the month volunteering for school with my best friend. We then went to the lights in the park. A couple days later my boyfriend took me to the same lights and then out for dinner. We then went to more lights in a small town not too far away where he walked me out between firework lights and went down on one knee to ask for my hand in marriage. I said yes of course!! My friend did our engagement pictures which I'm obsessed with!! My best friend and I went downtown to celebrate a week later. I also hosted a friends Christmas dinner which was so much fun! I ended the New Year with both my best friend and my Fiance! I can't wait to see what the new year will bring!
I decided to try the Fabfitfun box again for just one season because they had a deal to get the box for only 40USD. This season was also in support of Women's Alzheimer's Movement which any organization with Alzheimer's I love to support.
The first thing I saw when I opened the box was Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub. I look forward in using this I've never done a body scrub but I want to start. It retails for $16.95.
This product I am axtually excited to get in the box, it's a LashsMD Eyelash Conditioner to help rejuvenate and moisturize lashes and brows. It retails for $69.95 and I can't wait to use. My eyelash line gets so dry I hope this works and mositurizes the area.
The next item is Cuccio Somatology Calm + Clean Epsom Salt Hand and Body wash that retails for $39.95. I'm almost finished my current body wash and look forward to using this once I finish.
The next product is from Karuna it's the Face fir All Face & Eye Mask Set it comes with multiple eye and face masks which retail for $42. I've used their masks before and love them so I was so happy to get more.
The next product is a eye shadow palette by Beauty Bakerie Proof is in the Puddin' which retails for $38. I like the idea of the palette but there's so many neutral palettes out there and I don't think this one is anything special compared to others I already have.
The next item is Drybar Prep Rally Prime and Prep detangler. I'm using stuff in my hair right now but once I'm done with those which will most likely be soon I'll start using this. It's sold for $23.
The next item is the Makeup Eraser, the original one. I already have the black one and a small sample one and I really like them so I'm glad I have another one out to rotate them out when the other is dirty. These retail for $20.
The last item in the box is probably one of my favourites. It's a Unhide Lil' Marshmallow faux fur blanket which retails for $65 that will be perfect for the winter. It's big enough for a couple and it's so warm I love it.
I got this months Boxyluxe a little later than I normally get the boxes. It was worth the wait though it was such a great box! Unfortunately I will be stop getting boxes for a few months because if you don't follow me on Instagram I got engaged! So with that being said I need to be able to save up for the wedding as much as I can so we are cutting expenses. As much as I will miss the box It's what's most important to me right now. The theme of this box was Whimsy
The first item in the box is a Cosmedix Facial Roller which is something I've actually seen and wanted for a while now but didn't have the money to spend. It retails for $69 and comes in different colours so I'm glad I got the red.
The next item is the Daily Concepts Daily Hair Towel Wrap which I'm happy to receive because a normal towel can be harmful for your hair. I miss having an easy way to dry my hair so I'm excited to use this after my next shower. It retails for $18 which is honestly not as bad as I was expecting so if I have extra money I might get another one.
The next item is the Inn Beauty Dual-Phase Setting Face Mist. This retails for $32 and says it should help even out the skin with redness, dark spots, dullness, and blotchiness.
The next product is a Too Faced Rich & Dazzling Up Gloss which I'm excited to try I've been using lip gloss a lot lately. It retails for $21. I would never think to buy a gloss from too faced so I'm interested to see how it is.
The next item is M.Greengrass Dry Oil Spray-Beach Air which retails $36 I've never heard the brand before and i'm not quite sure what it does but I'll try it out.
Another item in box is Elemis Pro-collagen Rose Facial Oil which helps fine lines and wrinkles which leaves the skin with a nice glow. I'll use this after I'm finished the oil I'm using now. This retails for $79 which is a lot for small bottle. I've never used a product from Elemis but have heard it's very good for how expensive it is I hope so.
The next product is a Fresh Soy Face Cleanser. It says it's gentle to the skin and I have sensitive skin so I hope that's true. Once I finish my current cleanser this is the next one I'm going to use for sure! It retails for $48.
The next makeup product is pretty interesting. It's from Ciate Confetti Highlighter. I don't know if it will be too dark because I've never used a highlighter like this before. It retails for $32.
The last item was the one I was most excited for it's from Storybook Cosmetics which is a brand I've wanted to try for so long! This is the Fairy Tales palette. This retails for $55 and I'm excited to test this out and then possibly get more of their items.
I'm really happy which this box I know I'm going to use everything in it. It was an amazing last box from a while. I can't wait until I can continue again in the future getting the boxes. The total retail of this box is $390.
Since the last post these are products I've purchased over time. A lot of these aren’t new anymore but I didn’t want to only post about a couple items so I let them build up. Starting with Colourpop I got the Just my Luck palette along with Becky G's two new lipsticks LBD and Fe Fi Foo.
I like doing green looks but I never had many green shades o choose from. As soon as they came out with this I wanted it right away! I love the shades and they're just as good as every Colourpop eye shadows I've tried. This is the palette I used for my Halloween Slytherin eye makeup.
I love Becky G, I already have her collection with Coulorpop so I had to get these when I saw she was coming out with more. I brought one to Cuba with me and it lasted all day! I love the shades and the Lux formula so no complaints from me!
The next item I mainly got because the YouTuber RachhLoves collaborated with Pix! To make a beautiful highlighter palette which I actually love. Each highlight brings so much on their own but you can even layer them which makes new fun shades and brights up the intensity.
Another thing from Becky G and Colourpop is her Viva collection that came with four super shock eye shadows and three ultra glossy lips. I love the colours and I used the blue super shocker shadow for the Joker Halloween makeup I did.
The next thing is starting the newer items on the market. I got the entire Disney Designer collection. This came with the Midnight Masquerade https://colourpop.com/products/midnight-masquerade
It came with four blushes and four highlights and and eight lux liquid lipsticks. The collection is based around eight Disney characters; Rapunzel, Aura, Cinderella, Meg, Belle, Giselle, Tiana, and Esmeralda. Each character has a lip and either a blush or a highlight. You can buy each item individually or in sets for each character. The packaging is so cute I wanted to keep them!
The next item is the Urban Decay Honey palette. I've used this s couple times and love it! I used this for the Egyptian Halloween makeup look!
For my birthday my friend got me the Cosmic Celebration 3-palette Shotting Star Set wich comes with a highlight/contour/blush palette, a new Nova palette, and the old Minimalist palette with new design.
As a gift to myself I got the Fenty Beauty Glossy Posses Mini Gloss Bomb set with five different mini gloss bombs. Fu$$y is an old shade but the rest are new and I love all of them! Fenty has my favourite formula for lip glosses anytime they come out with new ones I'll be getting them.
I got the Morphe x James Charles Mini Palette. I don't like massive palette I don't tend to grab for them so I like they they came out with a smaller version of the palette because this will be better to travel and just to use in general.
I have been getting more into lashes lately so I got the four pack from Sephora and I actually really loved the brunch Babe lashes and am so sad they don't sell them individually. They've been one of the first lashes that are good for everyday and fit under my glasses.
During the VIB sale I got more higher end expensive products that the 20% helps make it a little more affordable. I got a Pat Magrath Labs Done Undone lip liner, Hourglass limited time Ambient palette, and a Makeup Eraser in black because I'm trying to get away from cotton pads from how bad it is for the planet. I still want to use up the remainder of my makeup removers but I'm happy to start transitioning to a more eco-friendly way even in the makeup world!
The last item I got was the Becca Cosmetics x Khloe and Malika BFF palette because it was on sale on their website! It's beautiful and I love that they have two versions one for paler skin and one for darker which is amazing!
