Easter is Just around the corner and if you're still scratching your head on what to get someone here are a couple ideas!
1. Chocolate (obviously), or their favourite type of candy 2. Bath Bombs - can never have too many! 3. Spring Items - this could be anything from activities such as chalk, mini golf set to products such as sunscreen and moisturizes 4. Bath and Body Work - They have Easter products on right now designed for spring and Easter that smell wonderful!! 5. Small home items - This could be candles, soap, a small handbag, or a journal. 6. Eggs!! - Have fun and decorate eggs always my favourite part even if they never turn out that well! 7. Small Makeup Products - Compliment the season and holiday even if it just from the drugstore! These are just some ideas I could think of just make sure what you get goes around what the person you are buying for would enjoy. You obviously wouldn't give bath bombs to someone if they don't like them! If you can think of any more Ideas Leave them in the comments so others can read those as well! In my post 'Shopping Spree' I mentioned I bought 2 beauty products from Sephora. A few days after buying them I decided to test them out and oh my gosh the results! Lets start with the blush. It is so easy to apply and more pigmented than I thought it would be. It is buildabke for a colour to show more. I honestly love it, the colour and how easily it applied. Next the lip stick which again I love. I usually don't wear pink pretty much anything (other than blush lol) but it was such a nice colour. When first applying it was darker than I thought and didn't really like it but as soon as it started to set and mattify which happened very quickly it came out to this gorgeous colour. It applied smoothly and did not dry out my lips it lasted though drinking. When I ate it did fade a lot but I was also having a very liquid based food (I had Mr. Noddles) it was still there just as I said very very faded. When eating solid based foods I didn't not have this problem though. I was very impressed! If you want to buy any of these products I will leave the links.

Is it any good? Should I watch it? And the answer is yes you should watch it. I believe everyone should watch it. Whether your older and have children or even if you don't. Mainly teenagers and young adults should watch this because this show explains what happens in the halls of high school and outside in the life of students.
This show is so real, deep, meaningful, powerful, and has such strong messages everyone needs to know. They don't hide away from the dark topics of rape and suicide they present it to the world as a hard, true, and painful thing. The show is very graphic and real it will show the truth and the horrible things people go through. People need to watch and realize that what they do to others is not okay and everyone needs to treat others better. You never know what's going on in people lives. Even the music speaks volumes in this show it captures what you should be feeling and goes perfectly with the situations. Lovely soundtrack! As a person with depression I first read the book when it was minor and still then it had such a powerful meaning. Last year my depression got so bad to the point I didn't care anymore and I didn't have any happiness. I felt alone. I knew what Hannah Baker was feeling. After watching this show, now having gone through that, it meant so much more. It shows how many people suicide affects. It shows that people do care. It shows that people are assholes and we need to find help to get through it. I truly believe that everyone at one point in their live needs to either read the book or watch this show, especially high school students. If you aren't watching it I suggest you do. Your perspective on how you treat others could change so much. Like I said it's very graphic and real on the topic of rape and the suicide. Some may not be able to watch those parts but it is important to know what it's like and the pain and suffering of people who are affected by these things. This show presents that extremely well. They did such an amazing job on the show and now I kind of want to read the book again! The other day I bought a couple new makeup products which I'm excited to use. First is the new Benefit Galifornia and the Clinique Crayola quartet lipsticks. Let's start off by saying it melts amazing!! This is the first Benefit product I've actually bought. The presentation itself looks so pretty and just makes me excited for summer. The colour looks really nice and it's really pigmented! It's a beautiful, sutle, peachy pick shade and I for one love it. So Clinique partnered up with Crayola to come out with these limited edition lipsticks. I got the four pack and love all the colours. They have have a nice spring look which is perfect since that's what season we're in right now. They work really well and are super buildable. I had to literally scrub to get them off my arm so hopefully they're that good on the lips too! Excited to make a look with both of my new items!

I had a couple nights out with different groups of friends which was nice. I had a lot of stuff to do on my online class like normal. I started up a Twitter, Instagram, and email accounts for my blog! A link to the Twitter and Email can be found at on this site and when I start posting pictures on Instagram I will have it linked to the twitter account so you can easily find it. Tweet or email me anytime you wish! I went to my first beauty event this month which I loved and I wish more things happened around where I live. I got a few new products this month my favourites being: again the Covershot Palettes but this month I got a new one to test out which I love just as much as the other; Golden Hour. The other products I've been loving this month are the Clinique cleanser and moisturizer, and The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil trio I got. I use the last few items on a daily basis. Non-makeup related things I've been loving is the Pop! collection. I've really grown mine this month! My boyfriend and I are still watching Smallville and The Walking Dead. We actually barely watched any at all this month we've been so busy. We also have had Glee playing in the background when we're going stuff lately which I've already seen the whole thing before so it's nice background noise. This month I read Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them The Original Screenplay, both by J. K. Rowling. Both books were brilliant and I read them extremely quick. She announced the name of her new book this month as well which I'm excited for!! That's my March! My goals for the month of April are, again to hang out with friends at least twice and read, try to drive up to see my brother because I haven't seen him since I think Christmas and I miss him (might not be able to do this one due to it being exam month), pass my exam!!! And again I want to continue working on my blog and my book! |
